DualView

LINKS & EMBEDS

Share the difference.

Create a standalone review from two public media URLs. This does not upload local files or change an editor project. Anyone with the link can read its notes and media URLs.

Comparison details

Before sharing

Use durable, public HTTPS file URLs. Avoid signed URLs, access tokens, confidential filenames or anything that expires. The link carries its content in the URL fragment; DualView does not store a published copy. Recipients load media from the named hosts after clicking Load media. Those hosts receive normal web requests.

Links have no revocation service. Removing a source file can stop future loading, but cannot recall copies. Link previews use a generic DualView card; your custom title is shown inside the viewer. Shared viewers are excluded from search indexing. This builder page and editorial model profiles remain discoverable.

For local files and richer reviews

Use the existing editor and its Share dialog for offline HTML exports or detailed synchronized inspection. The lightweight viewer offers side-by-side images, an overlay slider, and approximate video playback. It does not replace frame-accurate review.
